What is Botox?
Botox is the most popular injectable aesthetic treatment worldwide that works to prevent and smooth facial lines and wrinkles. Botox also called Dysport, Neurotoxin, or Nuceiva improves your face shape, softens lines and wrinkles, and relaxes your neck's platysma bands for a smoother, softer, more youthful appearance.
Neurotoxin can also lift your eyebrows (Brow Lift) and the corners of your mouth (Lip Flip) to help you look well-rested, refreshed, and years younger. Facial slimming can also be achieved with Botox when injected into the masseter muscle to create a more elegant, feminine, angular face shape. Facial Slimming with botox injections is called Masseter Botox and is one of our most popular neurotoxin treatments.
Botox can also smooth vertical lip lines and rejuvenate the neck. You can dramatically improve the overall appearance of your skin, face shape, and neck with a series of regular treatments.
Some of the most common areas treated with Botox include:
- Crow's feet, wrinkles around your eyes
- Forehead Lines and Wrinkles
- Frown Lines, lines and wrinkles in between your eyes
- Eyebrow, Brow Lift
- Lip Lines
- Masseter Muscle Botox for a slimmer, angular, more elegant face shape
- Facial Lines and Wrinkles
- Neck Lines
- Preventative treatments are the best way to achieve smoother, softer, more revitalized skin
Botox Injections are Advanced Medical Treatments that should only be performed by an Expert Nurse Injector in a fully accredited Medical Clinic. Many veins, arteries, and nerves in the face make it extremely important to be treated by a licensed Medical Professional in a sterile Medical Clinic, with a Physician onsite. Working with an Injector without a physician onsite in a non-accredited facility can lead to infection and severe, unnecessary, and irreversible damage to your face.
Botox For Men
At The First Glance, we see just as many men for Botox as women. Once you see and feel the difference that Botox makes to your skin, there's no going back. We are confident with that. Whether your career is in sales or forward facing with clients, you will begin to look and feel well rested and refreshed after your first treatment.
How Long Does Botox Last?
Botox lasts anywhere from 3 to 4 months depending on how quickly your body metabolizes it. Touch-up treatments are required to maintain results.
Our Expert Nurse Injectors have proudly worked with the official Botox brand for 20+ years. Only Fully Accredited, reputable Medical facilities are permitted to use the official Botox brand. If you are currently getting neurotoxin treatments at another clinic, ask your injector which product they use for your "Botox" treatments, as many uncertified or unlicensed injectors who work in non-medical facilities may work with counterfeit, unregulated, and dangerous knockoffs. At The First Glance, we only use the top-rated, top-performing, and safest Injectable products in the Medical Aesthetic Industry. Our Medical Professionals have been working with the official Botox brand for 20+ years.

DYSPORT VS botox
A major distinction between Botox and Dysport (we offer both) is the approved areas of use. Dysport targets frown lines between eyebrows and is optimal for moderate to severe wrinkles. Not everyone is a proper candidate for Dysport. Botox is more suitable for mild to moderate wrinkles, such as crow's feet, forehead wrinkles, and laugh lines. At the time of your consultation, your Expert Nurse Injector will determine which neurotoxin is best for your skin's unique needs to achieve optimal results.
Things You Need To Know Before Your Botox Treatment
We want you to achieve outstanding results and love your fresh, smooth, revitalized skin. Here’s some important information about Botox to help you along the way.
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot get Botox treatments.
Please avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours before your injections to minimize bruising. To improve the longevity of your treatment, we recommend that you refrain from gym workouts for 48 hours and avoid excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 1 week after your treatment.
After your injections, you may feel slight discomfort and be tempted to rub or massage the injection sites; this is to be avoided. Your skin needs to settle and heal without irritation. The typical time to recover after Botox is approximately 2 to 4 hours. Although it may be tempting to take a nap during that time, it's best to avoid lying down or putting pressure on your face.
For optimal results, we recommend that you follow these guidelines to reduce the risk of bruising.
Botox treatments are often performed at the same time as injectable Filler treatments including Lip Filler, Brow Lift, Under Eye Filler, Jaw Contouring, Chin Filler, Top Model Cheekbones, Non Surgical Rhinoplasty, Belkyra Double Chin Fat Removal, and Skin Boosters.
MicroNeedling, Chemical Peels, and PhotoFacials are very popular combination treatments to take skin revitalization to the next level.
Medical Grade Skincare products can take your Botox results to the next level. Most of our patients use Medical Grade Skincare products. With Medical Grade Skincare products, you will see a visible improvement in your skin. At the time of your consultation, your Expert Nurse Injector will examine your skin to determine which products are best for your skin type.
