Botox Treatments

Serving Patients Across Canada for 25+ Years

What is Botox?

Botox is the most popular injectable aesthetic treatment worldwide that works to prevent and smooth facial lines and wrinkles. Botox also called neurotoxin, Dysport, or Nuceiva  can improve your face shape and soften your neck's platysma bands for a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Botox injections can also lift your eyebrows (Brow Lift) and the corners of your mouth to help you look well-rested, refreshed, and many years younger. Facial slimming can also be achieved with Botox when injected into the masseter muscle to create a more elegant, feminine, angular-shaped face. Botox is one of the most popular treatments to smooth vertical lip lines and rejuvenate the neck. In addition, you can dramatically improve the overall appearance of your skin and face shape with a series of regular Botox treatments. Some of the most common areas treated with Botox include crow's feet, wrinkles around your eyes, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, lines and wrinkles between your eyebrows, vertical lines around the lips, and the masseter muscle for a slimmer, angular, more elegant-shaped face.

Botox is an advanced medical treatment that should only be performed by an Expert Nurse Injector or a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon in a fully accredited medical clinic. Many veins, arteries, and nerves in the face make it extremely important to be treated by a licensed medical professional in a fully accredited medical clinic, with a physician onsite. Working with an Injector without a physician onsite in a non-accredited medical facility can lead to severe, unnecessary, and irreversible damage to your face.

Botox for Men
At The First Glance, we see just as many men for Botox as women. Once you see and feel the difference that Botox makes to your skin, there's no going back. We are confident with that. Whether your career is in sales or forward facing with clients, you will begin to look and feel well rested and refreshed after your first Botox treatment.

Our Expert Nurse Injectors have proudly worked with the official Botox brand for 20+ years. Only fully accredited medical facilities are permitted to use Botox. If you are currently getting Botox treatments at another clinic, ask your injector which product they use for your "Botox" treatments, as many uncertified or unlicensed injectors who work in non-medical facilities may work with counterfeit, unregulated, toxic, and dangerous knockoffs. At The First Glance, we only use the top-rated, top-performing, and safest Injectable products on the market. Our medical professionals have been working with Botox for 20+ years.

Advanced Specialized NEUROTOXIN Training

Botox is an advanced medical treatment that should only be performed by an Expert Nurse Injector or a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in a fully accredited medical clinic. Many veins, arteries, and nerves in the face make it extremely important to be treated by a licensed medical professional with a physician onsite. While many injectors perform Botox treatments, you should select a certified specialist recognized for excellence, safety, and expertise in Botox treatments.

The First Glance is a fully accredited Clinic that works with the official Botox brand. It's important to know that many other clinics, salons, and spas are not certified to use the official Botox brand. They typically use other products that are knock-off Botox products. At The First Glance, you can rest assured that we are fully accredited to use Botox and only use the top-rated brands in the market today. We proudly serve patients across Canada and beyond for 25+ years.

Our Expert Nurse Injectors teach and mentor other medical professionals Nationally and Internationally and learn directly from world-class leaders in the Medical Aesthetic Industry. We have won awards with globally recognized Medical Aesthetic companies such as Allergan, the creators of Botox, Juvéderm, Latisse, Belkyra, and CoolSculpting. So when you get treated at The First Glance, you can rest assured that we put your safety first and work exclusively with world-class injectable products created by world-class brands.

Things You Need To Know Before Your Botox Treatment

We want you to achieve outstanding results and love your fresh, smooth, revitalized skin. Here’s some important information about Botox to help you along the way.

Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot get Botox treatments.

Please avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours before your injections to minimize bruising. To improve the longevity of your treatment, we recommend that you refrain from gym workouts for 48 hours and avoid excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 1 week after your treatment.

After your injections, you may feel slight discomfort and be tempted to rub or massage the injection sites; this is to be avoided. Your skin needs to settle and heal without irritation. The typical time to recover after Botox is approximately 2 to 4 hours. Although it may be tempting to take a nap during that time, it's best to avoid lying down or putting pressure on your face.

For optimal results, we recommend that you follow these guidelines to reduce the risk of bruising.

Botox treatments are often performed at the same time as injectable Filler treatments including Lip Filler, Brow Lift, Under Eye Filler, Jaw Contouring, Chin Filler, Top Model Cheekbones, Non Surgical Rhinoplasty, Belkyra Double Chin Fat Removal, and Skin Boosters.
