Brow Lift by Injections in Winnipeg, at First Glance

Serving Patients Across Canada for 25+ Years

What is Brow Lift by Injections?

A Brow Lift (also called Eyebrow Lift) is a treatment performed with Botox or Dermal Filler injections to lift the eyebrows for a revitalized appearance within a matter of minutes.

As we age the bone and fat volume around our temples and eyebrows begins to decrease. This results in the loss of facial structure and support. We also lose collagen and elastin over time, which causes the eyebrows to droop as the skin in this area loses elasticity. Genetics also plays a role. Some people have lower set eyebrows according to the natural structure of their face. With Botox injections and Dermal Fillers like Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Teosyal®, expert injectors at The First Glance can lift your eyebrows for a youthful appearance. Your Brow Lift will be personalized according to your desired aesthetic results.

A Brow Lift is an advanced medical treatment that should only be performed by an Expert Nurse Injector or a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon in a fully accredited medical clinic. There are many veins, arteries, and nerves in the face making it extremely important to be treated by a licensed medical professional with a physician onsite.

Brow Lift With Botox

When muscles around your eyes repeatedly contract, it pulls the eyebrows lower on the face over time. Common causes include frowning or squinting. By treating the crow’s feet and the lines between your eyebrows with Botox, the muscles relax, so they no longer contract or pull your eyebrows down. This allows your eyebrows to lift over time.

You can also dramatically improve the appearance of your skin with Botox treatments over time. Some of the most common areas treated with Botox include crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and in between the eyebrows. Maintaining your treatments is key (the effects of Botox injections are temporary). Touch-up treatments are typically set for every 3 to 4 months.

Brow Lift With Dermal Fillers

Some patients need dermal fillers to add volume, structure, and support to the temple and eye area to lift the eyebrows. This depends on the natural anatomy of your face and will be determined by your expert injector during your consultation.

The majority of dermal fillers are made with Hyaluronic Acid which is a very safe and naturally occurring substance in the skin. Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin retain moisture, delivers nutrients, creates softness, and adds volume. The choice of dermal filler for your treatment will be based on your anatomy, the length of time the filler lasts, the cost per syringe, and your desired aesthetic results.
