What is truSculpt?
truSculpt is a nonsurgical body contouring treatment utilizing monopolar radiofrequency energy which delivers heat to the fat cells below the skin to destroy them. It is commonly used to treat areas of the body like the abdomen, love handles (aka flanks), and thighs.
The energy delivery heats pockets of unwanted fat cells until they are destroyed. The destroyed fat cells are then flushed out of the body permanently through the lymphatic system over a 12-week time period post treatment.
The heat results in some skin tightening and a temporary improvement in cellulite.
In a single 15-minute treatment, a 24% reduction in the fat thickness in the treatment area can result. Depending on your fat reduction goals and the amount of excess fat, an additional treatment 12 weeks after the 1st treatment can be performed.
