What is truFlex?
truFlex is an FDA cleared non-invasive muscle-sculpting treatment that uses painless, low-energy pulses called multi-directional stimulation (MDS) to trigger muscle contractions. The muscle group stimulated are activated more intensely than is possible by working out. The muscle contractions build muscle strength and tone. truFlex can be used on the buttocks, inner and outer thighs, abdominal muscles, arms, lower back, quads, hamstrings, and calves.
A 15-minute truFlex treatment produces the equivalent of up to 54,000 abdominal crunches. These rapid contractions create microscopic tears in the muscle fibers, which results in hypertrophy during the repair process. Ultimately this repair process results in improved muscular size, strength, and tone.
With 16 applicators, a single treatment could stimulate up to 8 muscle groups at the same time versus the one or two muscle groups of other devices.
truFlex can achieve up to a 33% increase in muscle density after 4 treatments within a 2-week period along with a moderate reduction in fat thickness. truFlex can also help reduce chronic low back pain by improving core strength and improve age related muscle loss.
