Meet Our Nursing Staff
Jen
Jen joined the First Glance team 13 years ago specializing in medical aesthetics and injectable treatments. Jen is a Registered Nurse and has advanced training and extensive experience in the administration of injectable fillers and neuromodulators. Jen is also a member of the Canadian society of aesthetic specialty nurses and is CNA certified in perioperative nursing. She attends annual medical aesthetic conferences across Canada as well as frequent continuing education seminars to stay on top of the latest research and techniques in the industry.
She has learned that nursing is as much about treating the mind and soul as it is about physical healing. When performing aesthetic treatments, she values the importance of a natural outcome that serves to enhance one’s own beauty. “I love empowering men and women to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin by achieving a refreshed natural look”.
Lisa
I graduated from Nursing at Red River many, many moons ago. Throughout nursing school, I knew that surgery was my specialty of choice. Â
After graduating, I worked in Orthopedics at St. Boniface Hospital as well as when I started my travel nursing career in New Haven, CT. In addition to Connecticut, travel nursing brought me to Anaheim, CA and Irvine CA where I worked on Telemetry/Medical/Surgical units. As much as I loved California, I realized that I am a Canadian girl through and through, so back to Winnipeg I came… mildly questioning my sanity whenever winter came around.Â
I started back at St Boniface Hospital where I stayed for over 10 years, on a Urology/Vascular and Plastic surgery ward. I have completed the advanced assessment course allowing me to frequently work in our Stepdown unit. Half of those years were spent as evening Clinical Resource Nurse, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Â
Looking for a change from the hospital setting, I started working at a couple of different aesthetic surgical centers, finding my home base at The First Glance, where I work through all aspects of the surgical process. Â
A few of my favourite things are going to the beach, working out, peanut butter and most of all animals especially my dogs who are my furry children.
Lindsay
Lindsay joined the First Glance 17 years ago after completing her Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 2008. Lindsay specializes in Medical Aesthetics & Injectable treatments.
When Lindsay is not performing injectable treatments in-clinic, she is assisting our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons in the operating room.
Lindsay has advanced training and extensive experience with Aesthetic Injectable Treatments & Medical Grade Skincare products and works with some of the most advanced medical aesthetics equipment on the market.
Lindsay is well known for being precise and articulate in her aesthetic treatments. Her work is her art, and she is very invested in her patients' care.

When Lindsay is not at First Glance, she enjoys spending time with her sister and niece, friends, and her pocket beagle puppy, Charlie. She enjoys living an active lifestyle, hiking, traveling, and summers at the lake with her family.
Trish
Trish will be works in our operating room, recovery room, and performs injectable treatments
Trish graduated with her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2005. She had been working in the Emergency Department at St. Boniface Hospital for 17 years. She has broadened her education by taking many courses throughout the years including an Advanced Assessment Course which focuses on Cardiac Rhythms and EKG Interpretation, as well as The TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and many more Advanced Care Courses.
Trish has always had an interest in Fashion, Cosmetics and Health. Trish expressed how excited she is to be able to combine her love of Nursing with her interest in Aesthetics. She is passionate about helping people feel more confident in themselves and address concerns one may have. Trish takes great pride in having an eye for detail. We are so grateful to have Trish on our team! Trish has such a strong base of Nursing skills that she expresses she looks forward to continuing to build.
When Trish is not working she loves spending time with her husband, her 3 kids and her adorable Sheepadoodle named Fred.
Bethany
Bethany is a kind nurse who is dedicated to boosting people's confidence!
Bethany worked at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a cosmetic clinic prior to joining our team as an Expert Nurse Injector.
Her love for aesthetics stems from her belief that everyone should feel confident and beautiful in their own skin!
