Dr. Heather Diamond graduated from medical school at the University of Western Ontario in 1997 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba in 2002. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She has been in practice as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for over 18 years, focusing on minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Diamond is a clinical educator at the University of Manitoba and the past site director of the Grace Hospital, section of Gynecologic Surgery. She is an examiner for the Royal College Fellowship Examination in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Diamond offers vaginal rejuvenation surgery, including labiaplasty. She is also a local expert in gynecologic laser treatments for management of urinary incontinence and vaginal atrophy. She was amongst the first in Winnipeg to offer this safe and effective non-surgical procedure.
Dr. Diamond lends her 18 years of experience as a surgeon to the aesthetic medical field- incorporating the artful eye needed for aesthetics with the understanding of anatomy- to achieve optimal results. She has trained with leading experts in medical aesthetics across the country and is now offering non-surgical facial rejuvenation and enhancement with Botox and filler. She takes her time during the consultation process, explaining the science behind the various treatment options.
Dr. Diamond is an active member of Doctors Manitoba, Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada, Canadian Minimally Invasive Surgery Society, American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy and the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.
She lives in Winnipeg with her husband, 3 children and 2 dogs.
