Penile Enhancement
One of the most common complaints from men at our Genital Aesthetics practice is how dissatisfied they are with the length and appearance of their penis. The feeling of having a short, or smaller than average size penis, can dramatically affect a man’s willingness to engage in dating and intimate relationships. Shying away from intimacy can ultimately impact happiness, self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Fortunately, Penile Enhancement surgery, also called Ventral Phalloplasty, is a popular procedure performed to increase the visible length of the penis’s shaft for a longer, larger-looking penis with an improved aesthetic appearance.
How Scrotal Webbing Creates The Illusion Of A Shorter Shaft and Smaller Penis
Scrotal webbing can occur naturally, or it can occur when a man has had a circumcision. Scrotal webbing occurs when the scrotal skin is connected too high on the shaft, closer to the tip of the penis, creating a webbed-like appearance. Scrotal webbing can cause discomfort during intercourse; even worse, the excess skin creates the illusion of a shorter shaft and smaller penis.
Ventral Phalloplasty is an excellent solution to correct scrotal webbing, whether it occurred naturally or by circumcision.
The Advantage of Ventral Phalloplasty for Penis Enhancement
When the full length of the shaft is visible, the penis looks much larger.
During Ventral Phalloplasty surgery, the excess skin on the shaft is removed to reveal its full length. For additional aesthetic benefits, the scrotum’s skin is then tucked and meticulously sutured at the base of the shaft to dramatically improve the visual length and overall appearance of the penis.
Ventral Phalloplasty only involves the penile skin – therefore, there is no need for grafts, implants, or foreign material, which significantly reduces the risk of complications.
