The anti-cellulite procedure
Have you been trying for what seems like forever to rid yourself of cellulite? Regardless of how many miles you run or salads you eat, you can’t always control cellulite. Some people can easily lose weight and tighten their bodies with a tweak of their diet and exercising, that’s some people……. for the rest of us there is cellulaze.
Hormones, genetics, aging and weight changes can all play a role in the appearance of cellulite. You add thin skin into the mix, and you officially have become the poster board for cellulite. All of these factors cause connective tissue bands under the skin to stiffen, so the fat cells they surround become larger and push up into the skin. This makes cellulite even harder to eliminate.
Why not try Cellulaze for Cellulite. A treatment that goes under the skin to break apart the fibrous bands that causes cellulite. It’s a minimally invasive, laser-assisted procedure that’s clinically proven to increase your skin’s natural thickness and create a much smoother, healthier look that lasts. Want more good news? Just one treatment can achieve these results.
Other “anti-cellulite cures” treat cellulite superficially, applying treatment only above the skin. Cellulaze is the only procedure, which treats the fibrous bands beneath the skin, while also thickening and adding elasticity to the skin.
How is Cellulaze performed?
There is minimal discomfort during the procedure. The area being treated is numbed with local anesthetic. Dr. Anthony P. Lockwood will insert a small laser under the skin to release the connective tissue causing the cellulite. You may feel a light pressure during the procedure. This procedure takes one to two hours, but this depends on the size of the area treated.
Cellulaze is performed in our state-of-the-art surgical centre located at The First Glance Aesthetic Clinic and Surgery Centre.
What’s the recovery period after Cellulaze?
As with most cosmetic surgeries, you will need to take time to recover. The recovery period will be different for each patient depending on the extent of the surgery, the area of the body, and the patient’s health. You can expect to swollen and experience minor discomfort for 1-2 weeks. You will be required to wear a compression garment for 4-6 weeks. Full results can be expects at 6-8 months. You can return to non-strenuous exercise within a few days, but strenuous activity should be avoided for 2 weeks.
Are there any risks to Cellulaze?
During your consultation, Dr. Lockwood and his expert medical team will clearly outline all of the necessary precautions you need to take, as well as any postoperative limitations you should follow. Dr. Lockwood and his staff take every necessary precaution to minimize any risk involved with all surgeries or cosmetic procedures.
