Tummy Tuck Patient #24

This 38 year old patient had a Tummy Tuck (Avelar Lipo-Abdominoplasty) performed by Dr. Lockwood at The First Glance Aesthetic Clinic and Surgery Centre in our state-of-the-art surgical facility. These photos were taken 14-months post-surgery.

Abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck” is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen more firm. The surgery involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall. This surgery can also target weak and separated abdominal muscles that need to be repaired. This type of surgery is usually sought by patients with loose or sagging tissues after pregnancy or major weight loss. A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program! We are very adamant on letting our patients know that the Tummy Tuck is not a quick fix for weight loss. We like to promote a healthy life style and ultimately like our patients to live and eat healthy and try to lose as much weight as they can on their own. Our Tummy Tuck procedure is to remove excess skin due to weight loss, not as a weight loss tool.

Patients who qualify for a tummy tuck may show results of Aging, Poor Heredity, Pregnancy, Prior surgery, and Significant fluctuations in weight. In order to properly assess you and decide if you are a prime candidate for a Tummy Tuck we would first set you up with a Surgical Consultation here at The First Glance Aesthetics Clinic. At this appointment we will discuss whether you qualify for the surgery, go over price, what the surgery will entail and and questions you may have at that time.

If you like the results you see here, request your appointment to learn more about how this procedure can help you achieve your ideal appearance. We encourage you to print your favorite photos and bring them with you during your consultation to help communicate your goals and expectations.

Keep in mind that each patient is unique and results may not occur for all patients. These photos are of an actual patient of our practice who has provided consent to display their pictures online.
